Villa Ripe Rosse is designed to integrate with the nature of the Cilento National Park, embracing its beauty with love and respect.
Zero Impact Architecture
Built about fifty years ago, Villa Ripe Rosse was born from the vision of Osvaldo, our grandfather and father, who during its construction respected the exact location of every slope and tree in the surrounding pine forest, integrating the building’s structure with the natural lines of the landscape. The Villa showcases an aesthetic that respects and enhances the environment, thanks to the use of local materials and colors inspired by the coastline.
Commitment to Reducing Emissions
Our commitment to sustainability is deeply rooted in the history of the villa and translates into the daily practices we adopt. At Villa Ripe Rosse, we strive to provide concrete responses to changing climate needs. This is why we have implemented a water heating system using solar panels, the utilization of photovoltaic panels for solar energy production, and irrigation systems that utilize 100% rainwater. We aim not only to reduce our environmental impact but also to actively promote mindful use of vital resources. These initiatives not only reduce our environmental footprint but also promote conscious use of vital resources.
In our daily operations
Every day at Villa Ripe Rosse, we promote recycling and responsible, mindful use of resources. We implement various practices aimed at reducing emissions and waste, such as on-demand changing of bedding and towels, and the use of personal care products that not only have natural origins but also reduce plastic usage. Sustainability extends to our palate as well, as we exclusively use certified organic products in our kitchen, sourced locally to support the resources of the territory, at km 0.
For the future
In the future, we aim to renew our commitment to continue our journey towards ever-greater sustainability. We are exploring new technologies and methods to further reduce our environmental impact, with the goal of making Villa Ripe Rosse an example of sustainable and ethical ecotourism in Cilento.
